We use email service platforms to manage our list. Your email address is stored within that platform and governed by their privacy policy in addition to ours.

Ticketing & Payment Processing

Event tickets are sold through multiple sites. When you purchase a ticket, your transaction information is processed and stored by the payment processor under their own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. We receive your name, email address, and ticket details in order to manage your attendance.

Product purchases through our online shop are processed through Wix Payments or a third-party payment processor. We do not have access to or store your full payment card information.

Social Media & Community Platforms

We maintain a presence on Instagram and Facebook. Our Facebook Group (Chicago Afternoon Tea Society) is a community space. Information you post, share, or comment within that group is visible to other members and subject to Facebook’s Privacy Policy.

We may occasionally share photos or highlights from our events on social media. If you prefer not to be featured, please notify us at chiafternoonteasociety@gmail.com and we will remove your image promptly.

Our website is built on Wix. Wix collects standard website analytics data including pages visited, time on site, device type, and general location of Chicago. This data is aggregated and anonymized and is used solely to improve our website experience.

Our website, events, and services are intended for adults ages 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18.
